For your first renewal all new Broker licensees are required to complete 30 hours of education; 15 hours of Broker Post-License Topics and 15 hours of Broker Post-License Interactive studies. This takes the place of CE. Our 15 hour Broker Post-License Topics is a self study course. To complete this you will need to study and then pass a chapter quiz for each chapter with a score of 75% or better. Once you pass all of the quizzes you can then take the course final exam. The 15 hour Broker Post-License Interactive studies is an interactive delivery (live two way communication between student and instructor) webinar portion that you will schedule upon completing the self study course.

The final exam(s) can be taken at our location by appointment or online with a proctor. For details of online proctored exams see our "PROCTORS" page. Passing is 75% or better. Once you pass the final that course is completed. Once you complete both courses you are done.

To change from Broker to Managing Broker requires completion of 45 hours of education; 30 hours of Managing Broker Topics and 15 hours of Managing Broker Interactive studies, then pass the state exam. • This is the course work needed for salespersons who upgraded to broker by proficiency exam or 30 hour course and now want to upgrade to managing broker.
• Any licensee who wants to upgrade to Managing Broker must have had an active real estate license (Salesperson or Broker) for 2 out of the last 3 years.
