Is SURE WIN INC. approved by the IDFPR?
YES, SURE WIN INC. is approved by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Continuing Education School license #562.000223 and Pre-License School license #510.000224, to provide Illinois real estate education through licensed courses for licensing and continuing education.
Where is SURE WIN INC. located?
We are at 2200 E.Devon Ave. Suite 246, Des Plaines IL. 60018 in the O'Hare Lake Office Park (2 story white brick green roof buildings on the north side of Devon). 1-1/2 blocks west of River Road at northwest corner of I-294 (west of Rivers Casino, across the street from the Wintrust building).
How do I pay with a check?
Contact us by email or phone and we will email you an order form that you can fill out and send in with your check.
Can I pay at class with a check or cash?
If you are attending an in-person class then yes but first contact us by email or phone and let us know you will be there. Some of the locations we conduct classes have limited seating so we want to know there will be space to accommodate you.
Which 90 hour Broker course is better - Self Study or Online?
Self Study is learning from a printed book where "Online" is working with an online program. What you should choose is what works best for you to learn. It will not do you any good to sign up for the course and not learn or complete it.
Why didn't I get something emailed?
Unfortunately some emails get push into spam/junk folders. Check there first. If it is not there then send us an email to email@example.com so we can verify your email address and resend it for you.
How do I get on to your course materials site?
Continuing Education students can use the generic username and password provided with the books or order receipt email. Licensing students will use the computer generated username and password emailed to them from Sure Win when their coursework is setup.
Why is the course materials site telling me that my email is already registered?
This means you are already registered. To retrieve your password go to the log in page and click on the "Forgot Password" button.
Can I download your materials to more than one device?
Yes, the materials are all PDF's that can be downloaded to any device.
What is a Webcast class?
Sure Win utilizes the most current online tools to bring together their students who live too far to attend a traditional class. We teach the class at our office and live web-cast it to multiple groups and individual locations. You attend the live class from that location. All you need is a good internet connection. The students see and hear the instructor along with viewing multiple presentation materials. There is live interaction with the students via chat and polls.
I have scheduled a Webcast class but I have not received connection instructions?
Two business days before the class we set up the webcast with our webinar service, AnyMeeting. We then email invitations and instructions to everyone who has registered. Watch for these. Check you spam folder just in case. If you have not received the email the day before the class contact us so we can resend them.
What if I signed up for the wrong class?

Do I have to take a final exam?
Yes, the IDFPR requires for every 3 hours of continuing education you must take an proctored 25 question closed book exam and pass it with a score of 70% or better and for every 15 hours of licensing education you must take a proctored 25 question closed book exam and pass it with a score of 75% or better.
How do I schedule my final exam(s) at the Sure Win office?
If you are doing them at our office send us an email requesting a date and time. We will confirm your request or give you other options. Otherwise call to schedule.
How do I schedule my final exam(s) at a Sure Win class?
If you are attending the class you do not do anything. We will provide testing for the class and any self study testing you want to do at the end of the class. If you are not part of the class and would like to come in to test (e.g. you need to take your self study exams) send us an email informing us you will be there at the end of the class to test.
How do I have my proctor register to administer my exams?
First the proctor must register not the student. All the details of who can proctor, the process, and rules about proctored online exams can be found on our "TAKE EXAMS page". Once the proctor is ready to register they will do so online at the SURE WIN ONLINE PROCTOR REGISTRATION
How many questions are on each the test?
- Continuing Education exams - 25 for each 3 hour course
- Broker License - Topics course = 125, Interactive course = 25
- Broker Post-License - Topics course = 25, Interactive course = 25
- Managing Broker - Topics course = 50, Interactive course = 25
How long does the test take?
We do limit the amount of time you have to take the exams online. We have found that these limits are more than enough time to complete them. In fact most people take about 1/2 the allowed time. The maximum time allowed for each exam is:
- Continuing Education exams - 15 minutes per 3 hours of coursework
- Broker License - Topics course = 150 minutes, Interactive course = 30 minutes
- Broker Post-License - Topics course= 30 minutes, Interactive course= 30 minutes
- Managing Broker - Topics course = 60 minutes, Interactive course = 30 minutes
Do I get more than 1 chance to pass an exam?
- Continuing Education exams - You are allowed 2 free attempts. If you fail after the 2nd attempt you must repurchase that course to continue.
- Broker License - You are allowed 4 free attempts. If you fail after the 4th attempt you must repurchase the course at half price and complete all the coursework again to continue.
- Broker Post-License - You are allowed 2 free attempts. If you fail after the 2nd attempt you can pay $25 for 2 more tries. If you fail after the 4th attempt you must repurchase the course at half price and complete all the coursework again to continue.
- Managing Broker License - You are allowed 2 free attempts. If you fail after the 2nd attempt you can pay $25 for 2 more attempts. If you fail after the 4th attempt you must repurchase the course at half price and complete all the coursework again to continue.
I have registered as a proctor days ago, why haven't I received an email to proctor the exams?
If you are approved, within one business day we will set up the exams and you would receive an email. If not approved you will also receive an email within one business day. Check your spam/junk folder. The other reason you would not receive an email is if the student has not signed up or completed all the coursework necessary to take the exams. Why can't I print the Certificates you emailed me?
The certificates are generated from our exam system. Depending on your email provider they may or may not be sized properly to print. If you need them printed center them on a screen and print the screen.
Why is my Code of Ethics completion not recorded at my local board?
Your local board, more specifically the Realtor organizations, are private member organizations that have their own requirement separate from the State of Illinois. They have nothing to do with the state or the continuing education requirements. Completions are not reported to them and they do not access to the state reporting records. That being said our NAR Ethics course is NAR compliant for your Ethics requirement. To get credit you must get your certificate to your local board showing the completion of the course. Most boards will take it in email format so you can forward the email to them.
