SURE WIN CE is the real estate continuing education division of SURE WIN INC., an Illinois Corporation, specifically operating to provide a simple inexpensive solution for the Illinois Real Estate Licensee's. SURE WIN INC. is run and operated by Dean Scherwinski, a 20 year veteran of the Real Estate Business and a Licensed Broker, Pre-License Instructor, and CE Instructor.
Is SURE WIN INC. Licensed by the IDFPR?
YES, SURE WIN INC. is licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (School License #562.000223) to provide Illinois Real Estate Licensee's with approved and licensed courses to complete continuing education for their license renewal.
What is the Broker Management Course?
The 6 hour Broker Management course is a standardized course administrated by REEF (Illinois Real Estate Education Foundation, a non profit arm of the IAR - Illinois Association of Realtors). The required REEF student fee is $41. Upon completion of the course you are required to take a 50 question multiple choice exam which will be sent to REEF, with the required fee, for grading. If you pass with a score of 70% or better, REEF will issue you Certificates of Completion and report your completion to the IDFPR.

Do I Have to Take Exams?
YES. The IDFPR requires for every 3 hours of continuing education you must take an administered 25 question closed book exam and pass it with a score of 70% or better.
What are My Options for Taking Exams?
The IDFPR requires administered exams, exams taken in front of a representative of the school or approved proctor, so proper procedures are followed and to verify your identity. You have different options depending on the type of courses you sign up for. If you take classroom courses only you will take your exam immediately following each class. If you do a combination of classroom and home study or online, you can prepare yourself for the home study or online exam before you come to class and after the class take all your exams. If you do home study or online courses only you have 4 options: with a group of 5 or more in office testing, set up a proctored exam(s), come to our office by appointment, or come to any of our regularly scheduled classes, at any location, and take your exams when we give that class their exam.
What is a Proctored Exam?
Having your exams administered by an approved person that is not employed or associated with SURE WIN INC. For example, set up a person in your office to be the proctor, when ready they will get the materials necessary to conduct the exams, so you can test at your convenience. What if I Fail an Exam?
If you fail an exam the IDFPR allows for 1 retake within 30 days at no charge. If you fail an exam a second time you will be required to re-purchase the course to complete your continuing education.
What Happens When I Pass My Exams?
Upon passing your exam(s), your successful completion will be reported to the IDFPR and you will receive Certificates of Completion.
Do I Need Certificates to Renew My License?
NO. Certificates of Completion are for your records only. You DO NOT send them in with your renewal. If you have completed all your required continuing education you can send in your renewal immediately, BEFORE you receive your Certificates of Completion.
