CONTINUING EDUCATION NOTES:

• You need at least one Core A and one Core B course for each renewal.
• CE credits do not roll over, so if you do more than required for any renewal period they will not be able to be used for future renewals.
• You can not take the same license numbered CE course twice in a renewal period and get double credit. You can take the same course in subsequent renewals for credit.
• You can take more core courses than required (as long as they are not the same license numbered course). They will count towards your total CE hours needed and reduce the number of electives hours needed.
• You can not take more elective course hours than required and receive credit now or in the future.

Your CE credits recorded with the State do not automatically transfer to your new license number when you upgrade. Only when you take CE under your new license number will the credit be posted to that number. You need to search your new and old license numbers. CE credits reported for both license numbers will be counted for the total needed.

Attention Salespersons to Broker: Your CE records will be found in a couple of places at the State. If you have upgraded to your new license and search the new number only the CE taken when you provided the new number to the school will be posted here. When you search your old license number any CE taken between 5/1/11 and 4/30/12 when you provided your old number to the school will be posted on this page. To see any CE posted before 5/1/11 under your old license number, you will need to click on "Show History" in the upper right hand corner of the page. It will then show all your previous CE but you want to look specifically for any CE completed since 5/1/09. The CE completed between 5/1/09 and 4/30/12 will be counted for your 2012 renewal requirements.

MANAGING BROKER LICENSEE'S: The 12 hour Broker Management CE course is not available at this time. It does not need to be completed until 4/30/2013. We will offer it after 5/1/12 as per state regulations.

EXAM INFORMATION: For every 3 hours of CE, you must pass with a score of 70% or better, a 25 question closed book T/F exam.  All course exams are included in the price.  You will need to provide a current photo I.D. and real estate license # to take the exams. Immediately following each class there will be the exam to complete your CE.  You must take the exam at that time unless prior arrangements have been made. Students who order a combination of Classroom and Home Study CE can complete all their exams at the end of their classroom day, or just do their class exam and then complete your other exam(s) as per the self study course options.
