We are offering the 30 and 45 hour upgrade coursework as self study. You will need to pass a 50 question multiple choice course exam with a score of 75% or better. You are allowed four tries to pass the exam. The first two are included in the price. If you fail the exam twice there will be a $50 fee for the third and fourth attempt. If you fail the exam four times you will have to purchase and complete the course again. 

To upgrade and renew your license with the 30 hour (#513.001266) or 45 hour (#513.001267) course work:

  • Salesperson to Broker need to pass the self study 30 hour course exam (No CE, No state test, No proficiency exam).  This the entire education requirement needed to upgrade and renew your license.
  • Broker to Managing Broker need to pass the self study 45 hour course exam (No state test, No proficiency exam) plus 18 hrs. of CE (9 core and 9 elective). 18 hours of Self Study CE add $89 and complete your CE requirement (Core A (A) License Law, Escrow, Agency 3 hour core #564.001486, Core B (LI) Legal Issues 3 hour core #564.001487, Core B (LIRE) Legal Issues in Real Estate Today 3 hour core #564.001960, Indoor Environmental Hazards 1 & 2 (IEH1 & IEH2) - 3 hour electives each #564.001535 &1536, and NAR Ethics (Ethics) 3 hour elective #564.0001700
  • Choose this upgrade option if you want to study on your own and either come in for the course exam or take the course exam online with a proctor.

The 30 and 45 hour course books are delivered/mailed (sample exams and videos reviews are available online, no ebooks or online courses). Upon ordering you can go to Sure Win's Online Course Site where you can view and/or download ebooks and sample exams, access online course work, and watch video reviews of each course (check your order confirmation email for instructions).

  • Online with an approved proctor of your choice at your location (for more information on proctored exams see our "Proctors Page").
  • Daily at our Des Plaines office by appointment. Also Sat. 3/3 at 2:45 p.m. (call to register). If you need an evening or weekend call to arrange.
